| Job Summary | The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a College Budget Analyst Lead in the A&S Business Center. The main responsibilities of this position are to serve as the initial contact for budget planning, analysis, and financial management mentoring for all accounts in the College for assigned departments/units; Collaborate with Chairs/Directors to plan/forecast and assure adjustments are made to the budget in order to facilitate long-term planning in conjunction with the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration, and Administrative Officer III. Manage the day-to-day operations of the budget and finance team for specified departments/units; oversee financial processes in the college; ensure the procurement of goods and services follow university policies and procedures while ensuring orders are placed in a timely manner; oversee the reconciliation process of all accounts for specified departments/units; and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all business procedures. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service, organizational and planning, attention to detail, and communication (both written and verbal) skills. We are seeking a collaborative individual with leadership/management, initiative, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills as well as a high respect for diversity and inclusion. In addition, experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, knowledge of business regulations, and University policies. |
