Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Non-Credit Lecturer – Curriculum Development is responsible for developing curriculum, delivering classroom instruction, and conducting program and student evaluations. The role includes creating and facilitating training programs focused on entrepreneurship, life skills, re-entry preparation, financial literacy, health and nutrition, personal advocacy, cultural awareness, community resources, substance use awareness, communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace readiness. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Public Health, Biology, Business, or a related field.
Minimum one (1) year of experience working with marginalized or at-risk populations or providing workforce training.
Experience developing training materials and educational content, including:Curriculum development
Lesson plans
Syllabi
Homework assignments
Class activities
Exams and assessments
Ability to develop and deliver engaging classroom instruction.
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to evaluate student performance and program effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Public Health, Biology, Business, or a related field.
Knowledge of correctional education programs and re-entry strategies.
Experience working within correctional or rehabilitation settings.
Completion of correctional education volunteer training programs.
Experience supporting workforce development and career readiness initiatives.
