This is an opportunity to do meaningful and engaging work from day one with a team that is genuinely invested in your growth and success. - Collaborate with senior attorneys on sophisticated matters, including business succession planning, charitable strategies, family office advisory, and private trust company formation
- Coordinate with clients’ other professional advisors, including CPAs, financial advisors, and insurance professionals
- Utilize the firm’s proprietary drafting software and legal technology tools to deliver efficient, high quality work product
Why ShuffieldLowman
- You will participate in a formal mentoring program with structured guidance from experienced attorneys who are committed to developing the next generation of the practice

- Be part of a collegial, team-oriented culture, a firm where people actually enjoy working together
- Handle sophisticated work that is complex and intellectually challenging to plan for clients with significant wealth
- Opportunity to grow with the firm and enjoy a long-term career path, not a lateral stepping stone
- Reasonable billable expectations with a minimum billable hour requirement that starts at 1,700 hours per year
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in advanced estate planning, trusts and estates, tax, or a related practice area
- LL.M. in Taxation required
