Company Overview

The Federal Community Defender Office, a division of the Defender Association of Philadelphia and incorporated as a non-profit organization under laws of Pennsylvania, was founded in 1972 to provide legal representation to individuals who are in need of criminal representation and who are financially unable to afford counsel. The Federal Defender Office serves the Eastern District of Pennsylvania pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act, as amended, 18 U.S.C. & 3006A(g)(2)(B).
