Based in Hong Kong, the firm is strengthening its compliance function and is seeking an experienced professional to support its regulatory tax governance framework. JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Oversee regulatory tax compliance matters with a primary focus on US FATCA requirements across APAC entities.
Lead reviews, assessments, and ongoing monitoring to ensure alignment with global standards and local regulatory expectations.
Manage reporting cycles, due diligence processes, and controls to maintain high data accuracy and governance standards.
Act as a key contact point for internal teams and external stakeholders on FATCA-related matters, providing guidance and resolving queries promptly.
Drive enhancements to tax compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and cross‑functional projects requiring tax compliance expertise.
Provide training and updates to relevant business units to strengthen overall compliance awareness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of experience within regulatory compliance, tax compliance, financial services, or a similar function.
Strong understanding of US FATCA requirements; IGA and CRS exposure is an advantage.
Prior experience within a financial institution or professional services firm is highly preferred.
Proven ability to manage reporting cycles, controls, and governance processes independently.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a must, with strong proficiency in English.
Based in Hong Kong; able to work with regional and global counterparts.
