A prestigious Global Financial Institution is seeking a specialized Business Analyst to join a key technology transformation initiative. The team is driving a "Front-to-Back" roadmap to modernize the core engines that calculate valuations, performance, and reporting for their most sophisticated client segment.

This is an opportunity to move away from generic project management and focus on system logic, data lineage, and financial accuracy.

The Role You will act as the bridge between the business stakeholders (Sales, Ops, Product) and a dedicated Technology Squad. Your primary focus will be the Portfolio Accounting Engine -solving the challenge of moving from legacy batch processing to real-time positioning.

Key Challenges & Responsibilities

• System Logic & Valuation: Define how the system handles P&L attribution, lifecycle events, and performance data for complex assets (Derivatives, Cash Equities, Fixed Income).
• Data Accuracy: Trace data flow from trading systems to client statements, ensuring the numbers presented to clients are accurate and timely.
• Agile Execution: T ranslate complex accounting requirements into clear User Stories for developers.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a proactive partner to Operations and Sales teams-you won't just take notes; you will challenge assumptions and drive solutions.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a BA or PM within the Financial Services sector (Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Institutional Banking).
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Financial Instruments (you know how a bond works, how a trade flows, and how P&L is calculated). Background in Product Control, Fund Accounting, or Finance Change is highly advantageous.
• Mindset: "Curious and Hands-on." You enjoy digging into data discrepancies and explaining the "Why" behind a calculation.
• Skills: Strong command of Agile methodologies and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Degree in Finance, Business, or IT. CFA/CPA is a plus.
