Cooper, Adel, Vu Tax Service is actively seeking a Tax Professional who will help us meet our clients demands during tax season (February through April) and support other facets of the company during the off season. This position will be located in either Centerburg, OH.

Our clients enjoy their legal, financial and tax advisors working in concert to best address all their complex needs. The Cooper, Adel, Vu team of advisors serve five strategically located offices throughout the State of Ohio, which allows us to cover almost all communities within the state.

Responsibilities - The primary role will be in a client facing capacity. Responsibilities for this position will primarily include meeting with clients, gathering documents and other necessary information from the clients to complete their tax return, delivery of the completed return, and providing tax advice to the clients. The tax professional will also work to support our back-office staff by answering questions related to data entry and completing returns as well as reviewing tax returns before delivery to the client.

Must have strong client facing skills

Requirements

Enrolled Agent license
Travel between Centerburg, Hilliard, and Medina is required during tax season. (Travel demands may vary based on your home office)
We will reimburse for mileage 

Preferred-

2-3 years of experience preparing individual tax returns
Experience with Lacerte Tax Preparation Software
Experience preparing business (1065, 1120s) or trust tax returns
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
