As a Team Leader in the IPB Tax team within Wealth Management, you will oversee tax reporting and reconciliation for diverse global markets. You will ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of tax-related processes for high-net-worth and institutional clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and manage stakeholder relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee reconciliation between banking and tax systems for accurate tax reporting.
- Review transaction feeds and manage tax withholding and remittance for multiple markets.
- Liaise with upstream operations teams for transaction corrections and process improvements.
- Interpret and apply corporate events and fund movements to tax processes.
- Meet service level standards for timeliness and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Analyze transactional activity for tax implications and compliance.
- Learn and adapt to new tax laws and regulatory changes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Maintain KPI, SOP, and other management information systems.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tax-related activities.
- Utilize MS Office products for reporting and data management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of financial securities and instruments.
- Apply understanding of corporate actions and security transfers.
- Exhibit experience in tax and gain/loss reporting.
- Manage queries and provide subject matter expertise in tax functions.
- Understand and manage risk and controls within tax processes.
- Impart training to new hires and support team development.
- Ensure compliance with service level standards for timeliness and accuracy.
