Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) Credit and Financial Crime Risk Control - Credit Control Services


We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Credit Control Services.

Principal responsibilities

• Leads a team overseeing project management, governance, risk controls, cost management, strategies and management information, system development and back-office operations.
• Drive new initiatives and projects, including regulatory and policy updates, process optimisation, transformation, and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency and meet business requirements.
• Accountable for driving credit risk mitigation activities through effective implementation and execution of credit services capabilities and controls.
• Provides prompt responses and recommendations on credit policies and collections strategy to adapt to a dynamic market environment.

Requirements

• University degree in Business or a related discipline or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• Around 8 years' relevant experience in project management, analytics, debt collections or credit risk.
• Solid understanding of retail banking, operational risk management, financial crime compliance or related disciplines is advantageous.
• Proficient in application software, including SAS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Strong business acumen with good problem solving, communication and analytical skills
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
