ConnectedGroup is partnering in an exciting phase of one our private wealth management clients in seeking an Accounting & Finance Associate. This is a key role supporting management reporting, regulatory work, and client administration for the business. The position offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, auditors, and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

Management & Financial Reporting

• Support delivery of monthly management reports for group entities
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and handle account reconciliations
• Assist with financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Process invoices, expenses, and ensure proper documentation and record keeping
• Maintain data integrity between accounting systems and operations
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance and accounting projects

Client Administration

• Review management accounts and reconciliations for client entities
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and external service providers
• Handle audit and tax‑related queries
• Work with company secretaries to maintain proper statutory record
• Analyse monthly and annual variances to ensure accuracy in reporting

Requirements:

• Tertiary education with Accounting Qualification (CA / CPA equivalent)
• At least 4 years relevant experience in Financial Reporting and understanding of HK regulatory standards (FRR) within financial instituion
• Experience working in SFC licensed 1, 4 and 9 environment highly desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office package particularly Excel. Programming language (VBA, Python) a plus
• Good communication skills in Englis a must
