Position Summary
The Global Credit Finance Senior Analyst will be responsible for support of daily accounting and operations of Carlyle ABF funds leveraging Geneva accounting system. This is a key role for us to develop our internal books and records, enhance fund administrator controls, and improve NAV delivery and client reporting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all investment and non-investment activities are processed in Geneva on daily basis
- Reconcile cash and positions between internal system and TPA T+1 and actively resolve breaks with internal and external parties
- Ensure all investments are set up correctly in Geneva and generating cash flow and p/l according to deal docs
- Processing non-investment activities in internal system
- Assist with the review of quarterly fund closes based on data received from the TPA by producing reconciliation packages and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with the review of capital allocations and capital statements leveraging internal system
- Assist with the review of financial statements leveraging internal system
- Assist with interim and year-end audit requests and address questions from external auditors as well as investors
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reports to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Education & Certificates
- Bachelors degree, required
- Concentration in Accounting and/or Finance double major/minor, strongly preferred
- CPA and/or CFA preferred
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years relevant experience required
- Experience in the Private Equity industry preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements
- Knowledge of the credit investment universe (including, but not limited to, CLO's, Term Loans, Revolvers)

- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and successfully manage multiple responsibilities under strict deadlines
- Proficient Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to required or preferred skill sets, prior experience and training, and any relevant licenses or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000.
In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes retirement benefits, health insurance, life and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits, and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
