Finance Manager / Head of Accounting Location: Luxembourg

What You'll Do You will oversee all financial operations and play a central role in ensuring the company's financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Leadership & Team Building

• Build and lead an accounting team aligned with the company's growth
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and best practices
• Oversee quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare financial statements and management reports in collaboration with the external accounting firm
• Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management
• Develop, manage, and monitor budgets and forecasts

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audits and other compliance activities

Loan Portfolio Oversight

• Monitor loan portfolios to ensure adherence to documentation and regulatory standards
• Work closely with Loan Origination, Underwriting, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth servicing
• Prepare and review loan performance reports, including delinquency and default analysis
• Contribute to risk management by identifying and supporting mitigation strategies

Collaboration & Strategic Support

• Partner with the Chief Financial Officer on strategic initiatives
• Take on additional responsibilities as the company grows

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including team management
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Fluency in English; French is highly preferred
