They are eligible for the same benefits as salaried employees and paid time off is paid at 8 hours per day. JOB SUMMARY: Provides administrative and technical support for the Post-Closing Department, and serves as a communication link between departments, investors and attorneys. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * High school diploma or GED * One+ year administrative experience; mortgage industry experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Able to complete detailed work accurately * Able to take initiative and work independently * Strong organization and time-management skills * Good listening skills and patience in working with clients * Team player attitude * Ability to multi-task and meet delivery deadlines * Ability to lift approx.10-15 pounds ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Creates and labels all incoming files. 2. Enters closed loans in automated booking system, closed loan and MERS spreadsheets. 3. Monitors, and tracks loans purchased by Freddie Mac to ensure upload to Freddie Mac Servicers are delivered within their required timeframe. Uploads package to the Freddie Mac FAST system. 4. Scans and uploads files for delivery to Investor. 5. Registers loans in MERS according to MERS timelines. 6. Transfers Flood Certificate, prepares hazard insurance, flood insurance endorsement letters to applicable Investor and uploads Uniform Closing Data (UCD) to the Freddie Mac/Fannie portals 7. Reviews file for accuracy, identifies errors from Underwriting and Processing, and books and balances closed loans in automated booking system. Scans pertinent documentation to Loan Services. Makes applicable tickets. 8. Assists with clearing investor suspense items to ensure purchase by delivery timelines. 9. Assists with reviewing and shipping closed loans to Investor to meet delivery deadlines. 10. Assists with insuring government loans, as time permits. 11. Receives incoming phone calls and provides excellent customer service to all callers. Routes customer calls to the appropriate party. 12. Attends training classes and seminars for personal growth and to remain current with agency and Investors changes. 13. Assists with boxing loans at end of year, prepares list for files being sent to warehouse for storage and keeps file room organized. 14. Cross-trained in all areas of post-closing shipping and reporting and serve as a back-up as needed. 15. Works with attorney, loan officers, processors closers and vendors to obtain missing and incorrect documentation. 16. Adds loans with outstanding escrow items to escrow log. 17. Transmits FHA and VA funding fee for government agencies within 10 days. 18. Assists with tracking lender credits and cures. Enters information in spreadsheet. 19. Mails insurance, flood and PMI endorsement letters for notifying vendors of sale of loan. 20. Performs other duties as assigned. BENEFITS:
