Your key responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing Swiss income tax figures for investment funds (including the Swiss taxable income per unit)
- Coordinating with our EY partner offices, clients and fund administrators to obtain, validate and reconcile the data required for accurate tax reporting
- Managing the reporting process end-to-end: planning timelines, monitoring deadlines and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery to clients and the SFTA
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients on Swiss fund tax reporting matters
- Contributing to the continuous improvement and automation of our reporting processes and tools
- Leading engagements, supervising and coaching junior colleagues, and taking responsibility for engagement economics and client relationships
- A university degree (bachelor or master) in law, economics, business administration, finance or a comparable field
- At least 6 years of experience in taxation, ideally gained within a Big4 firm, asset manager, fund administration or tax advisory environment, including first leadership/coaching experience
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills and a confident command of MS Excel; experience in data analytics or automation is considered as an advantage
- Ability to translate complex tax and regulatory requirements into clear, practical solutions for clients
- Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); German is an advantage
- Strong communication skills combined with a structured, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and the drive to keep learning in a fast-moving field
- Keen interest in process optimization, automation, and digital transformation such as AI implementation
