Responsibilities
We are looking for a Manager of Allied Accounting to join our team! In this role, you will lead the accounting and financial reporting for all designated Allied business units. You will ensure accurate and timely monthly financial close processes, collaborate cross-functionally across departments, and drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close activities for Allied products, ensuring accurate general ledger entries in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee financial reporting and performance metrics; present insights to finance and business leadership.
- Manage account analysis and reconciliation processes.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and ensure accuracy.
- Support forecasting and budgeting efforts across Allied business units.
- Drive initiatives to streamline, automate, and improve accounting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, IT, HR, and Manufacturing.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain internal control documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA certification preferred.
- 710+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with Oracle or similar large ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of general ledger systems and financial statement mechanics.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence across departments and levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Resourceful and proactive in resolving issues and driving results.
