You will play a key role in ensuring that financial resources and human capital are optimized to drive innovation across 70+ digital services, supporting data science and consulting teams in a global, AI-driven organization. This role is ideal for professionals who want to work at the intersection of finance, operations, AI, and technical project management in Japan's fast-growing internet and e-commerce market.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the department-wide budget and execute required accounting transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Map technical project roadmaps, identifying milestones, risks, and potential hurdles early in the planning phase.
• Translate large-scale technical strategies into clear tasks and deliverables for engineering teams.
• Communicate technical progress, budget updates, and financial risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop hiring strategies and improve onboarding processes to strengthen IT and data-focused human resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, budget planning, or financial control.
• 3+ years of experience in business planning, project management, or operational management in technical environments.
• Strong IT literacy and professional discipline, with the ability to understand technical roadmaps and resource needs.

Soft Skills:

• Strong documentation and visualization skills to simplify complex business and technical information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate across multiple departments.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.
• Strong organizational ability with a structured approach to handling multiple priorities.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Conversational level
• English: Fluent (required for business communication in an international environment)
