We are seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join Laredo Physicians Group and Doctors Hospital of Laredo in Laredo, Texas. This role offers a hospital-employed position in an established, high-volume surgical program with shared call among experienced surgeons and competitive compensation, allowing you to focus on quality surgical care while working alongside a collaborative team in a state-of-the-art facility supported by Universal Health Services.

Practice Setting: 183-bed acute care facility with da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system and state-of-the-art operating rooms
Support / Care Team: Established surgical program working alongside 2 experienced general surgeons with quality recognition
EMR / Technology: Cerner EMR with da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system and state-of-the-art surgical equipment
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive general surgery services to a diverse border community patient population
Collaborate with experienced surgeons and support staff in a high-volume surgical practice
Manage day-to-day surgical responsibilities with coordinated, high-quality care approach
Document care using Cerner EMR system
Participate in shared call rotation with surgical team

Salary: Competitive salary base slary plus wRVU bonus

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain Texas licensure
Spanish language skills not required
