CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for one of the best names in Alternative Credit Strategies, where they focus on European Investment Management for Institutional clients. This business has a flat structure, lead by a really engaging COO, very open plan offices where you will have direct access to the front office who are very entrepreneurial but civilised and humble. Boasting a large AUM of $15bn, and plans to launch many new funds this year, it is a truly exciting time to be joining them. Especially as they are still hybrid and offering market leading bonuses.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone with strong technical knowledge in Fixed Income and Credit products. Ideally you will have gained this knowledge in another Credit or Fixed Income fund, but they would look at someone coming from a Prime Broker or Asset Management background. You will be assessed on your asset class knowledge in an interview, specifically around Fixed Income/Bonds, Repo, CDS, FX, Loans, F&O, TRS, Shorting and subsequent Stock Lending etc. Preference will be given to those who have worked with outsourced Middle Office fund service providers - thus your role is more oversight work with them and Prime Brokers, but also any exposure to NAV/Fund Administration and Fund Financing processes.

This wide role will see you work with the outsourced to make sure all transactions go through, there will be a lot of reconciliations, supporting corporate actions, and investigating all failing trades accordingly. Working in a small team will see you learn and develop quickly, get you exposed to supporting all operations processing, fund financing functions, and working with P&L and NAV function accordingly.
