If you are interested in working in an environment where leadership, excellence, integrity, and diversity are among our core principles, then explore opportunities at JPMorgan Chase.As a EMEA Tax Operations Manager - Vice President within the EMEA Tax Operations Team, you will have primary responsibility for ensuring that the delivery of the EMEA tax services is in line with client service level agreements and to the required high-quality standard. You will also act as a support to the wider EMEA Tax Team regarding the provision of shareholder investment tax reporting for funds administered by JPMorgan including German, Austrian, Belgian, Swiss, Italian, Danish, UK tax and Asian distribution reporting. The EMEA Tax Operations team function as UK fund Corporation Tax ('CT') lead handling the end-to-end CT600 process including control framework enhancement, asset review, tax adjustments and query management.
Job responsibilities
- Being the UK CT technical primary contact for any internal, client or external stakeholders' queries or matters including communication with regulatory bodies.
- Ensure efficient delivery of UK CT and any other EMEA tax reporting on a timely and accurate manner.
- Building strong relationships and frameworks with the outsourced providers.
- Setting up of and continuous enhancement of the tax oversight model and control infrastructure.
- Acting as a tax technical lead for any projects or initiatives globally including new services and product implementations.
- Managing new client onboardings from end to end leading workshops, defining gaps and milestones and putting effective targets in place.
- Complete quality control and change management - ensure strong and effective working relationships with the Tax Product and Development Team, the tax outsourced providers and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Building client and external auditor relationship: Primary responsibility for management of the client relationship in the context of tax service.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in a Tax Operations or Advisory role.
- Deep tax technical expertise on UK Corporation Tax and sound knowledge of EMEA Tax reporting.
- Experience in implementing new services and onboarding clients.
- Very good understanding of UK fund accounting, tax and financial reporting industry. standards with strong knowledge of fund structures and financial instruments.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Any previous tax/audit experience in a Big 4 company
- Any other languages
