You will have the opportunity to work with leading financial institutions, collaborate with diverse teams, and play a key role in managing high-value trades. This is your chance to develop your expertise, build strong client relationships, and contribute to innovative solutions in a dynamic market.As an EMEA Credit Default Swap Client Services Senior Associate in the Credit Derivatives Middle Office team, you will provide essential trade lifecycle support to a wide range of clients, including asset managers, pension funds, banks, and hedge funds. You will work closely with front office sales teams and partner with colleagues across operations, technology, reference data, and external custodians to deliver seamless service. In this role, you will help us maintain the highest standards of accuracy and client service while driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Job responsibilities
- Ensures operations are booked and allocated in a timely manner
- Supports clients in their various queries
- Performs numerous control reconciliations to verify positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, middle office to back office reconciliations
- Investigates and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations
- Completes operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations).
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
- Process flow understanding, including ability to understand flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlined
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail. Accuracy is critical to eliminate financial risk and maintain a strong client relationship
- A flexible, proactive attitude towards work is required as individual must be responsive with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, with a strong awareness of risk and control issues
- Ability to work well under pressure and think creatively is essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Proven ability to succeed as part of a team
- Fluent English is a must.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Previous experience in Finance industry appreciated
- Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
