Job Description
As a Credit Controller, your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring accounts receivable and ensuring timely collections from clients.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to facilitate payment processes.
- Reviewing and managing credit limits to minimize financial risks.
- Preparing and analyzing regular credit and collection reports for management.
- Following up on overdue accounts and negotiating payment plans where necessary.
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Providing support during audits related to accounts receivable and credit control.
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in credit control and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle client interactions effectively.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze financial data accurately.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of credit policies and compliance regulations in the professional services industry.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
