About the Role

Are you looking for more than just a job? Ascent Bank is looking to add a Credit Analyst to our outstanding team. You'll work closely with loan officers and bank customers to evaluate commercial and consumer credit needs - analyzing financial statements, cash flow, performance ratios, credit structure, and risk. What You'll Do

• Analyze the creditworthiness of commercial and consumer applicants and guarantors - reviewing loan applications, evaluating financial statements, calculating cash flows, identifying risks, and researching borrowers and industries.
• Partner with loan officers to analyze credit and prepare clear written and verbal credit analyses.
• Order, review, and analyze credit reports, appraisals, market valuations, environmental assessments, title insurance, and flood determinations.
• Coordinate with loan officers to keep loans moving efficiently and in compliance with regulations, from application through closing, including document preparation and review.
• Monitor and maintain loan files to ensure insurance, financials, and other required documentation stay current.
• Deliver exceptional service, guidance, and support to customers on bank products and services.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field - or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and meet deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
• Self-motivated with sound judgment to assist in credit risk decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Salary/Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
