Role Overview
We are currently recruiting a Consultant to join our growing Fund Accounting department. This role is responsible for the accurate review and sign-off of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and acts as the subject matter expert for fund-specific requirements within the team.
The Consultant plays a key leadership role in driving system enhancements and procedural improvements, coordinating their rollout, and ensuring effective adoption across the team. They also act as a key liaison, collating feedback from the Fund Accounting function and providing informed input to relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Principal Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate system testing activities within the team, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Act as a subject matter expert, representing the team on cross-functional process improvements and project deliverables.
- Lead the rollout of new procedures and system enhancements in collaboration with Business Process Analysts, Team Leaders, and NAV Managers.
- Mentor and support individuals and peers during projects and assignments, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Identify, delegate, and manage projects and assignments, maintaining accountability for delivery and outcomes.
- Provide clear progression feedback, recognition, and ongoing support to individuals and project teams.
- Contribute to the development of the department's long-term strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent the business to existing clients through presentations and client-facing engagements as required.
- Promote a strong client service culture, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service across all client relationships.
- Identify project tasks, manage timelines, and ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Prior fund accounting experience or relevant operational/accounting experience preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of Enterprise and related Fund Accounting systems is desirable.
- Strong understanding of the fund accounting industry, with particular knowledge of NT systems, infrastructure, and process/data flows.
- Experience working with market data and pricing vendors (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and internal/external client service skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder management capability.
- Strong understanding of how fund accounting systems interface with other platforms, including experience implementing or supporting such integrations.
- Proven client service orientation with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, and organise own workload.
- Willingness to support colleagues and contribute beyond immediate team responsibilities.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant standards, procedures, and controls.
- Advanced PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
