Chief Financial Officer
Bryant Group is partnering with Hope College on their search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will join Hope at a time of significant momentum and possibility, when thoughtful stewardship, strategic investment and innovative financial models are essential to advancing the College’s mission and realizing its vision for the decade ahead.
Reporting directly to the President and serving as an officer of the College, the CFO will serve as both a trusted strategic partner and the chief steward of the College’s resources. This leader will ensure financial strength and sustainability while supporting the College’s highest aspirations for academic excellence, access and impact.
The CFO will provide leadership across a broad and integrated portfolio that includes Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations and Facilities and Auxiliary Enterprises. Working collaboratively with the President’s Cabinet, the Board of Trustees and colleagues across campus, the CFO will align financial strategy with institutional priorities, ensuring that every investment advances the College’s mission and benefits the community it serves.
As the architect of the College’s long-term financial vision, the CFO will help shape decisions that strengthen affordability, enhance the student experience and sustain operational excellence. This leader will be instrumental in designing innovative financial models, advancing strategic capital planning and stewarding endowment resources to ensure that the College thrives for generations to come.
The ideal candidate is a forward-looking, mission-driven leader who combines strategic insight with operational discipline and a collaborative spirit. They will bring the vision, integrity and expertise to lead a complex enterprise, inspire confidence across the community and contribute meaningfully to the College’s enduring legacy.
