- Budget Manager
Description
The Budget Manager position at the Town of Apex coordinates the development and management of the Town's operating and capital budgets, provides strategic and operational analysis to support informed decision-making, supervises budget staff, and plays a key role in cross-departmental initiatives, system improvements, and organizational communication. The role involves a high level of responsibility, expertise and leadership for organization-wide analyses and projects.
This position reports to the Budget and Performance Management Director.
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
NC Budget Officer certification
NC Finance Officer certification
Formal supervisory experience
