Description
DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Budget Manager to join our client's Finance team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will oversee financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring the effective management of operating and capital expenses. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record of managing budgets in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and planning responsibilities for areas supporting the technology organization, with a strong emphasis on Business Partnering and value creation.
 - Building and supporting the financials for the tech organization and providing support to leaders at various levels.
 - Developing processes, models, and reports to accurately monitor and forecast expenses.
 - Performing balance sheet accruals, month-end close processes, analysis support, metric reporting, and other projects related to business partner needs, utilizing various tools.
 - Leading and facilitating budget reviews and forecasts with business partners.
 - Assisting in the preparation and review of the annual plan, including participating in the development and tracking of strategic initiatives.
 - Identifying and implementing new approaches to forecasting and IT processes.
 - Partnering with stakeholders to identify and achieve cost-saving opportunities.
 
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
 - Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in financial management or analysis.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
 - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in both independent and team settings.
 - Strong organizational and analytical skills with a capacity to address critical issues promptly.
 - Ability to prepare accurate financial reports, analyses, and other documentation.
 - Familiarity with cost accounting principles and metrics to support decision-making.
 - Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and CPA certification
