Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Accountant to join our growing team. This is a newly created position within our finance department, ideal for an accounting professional who is eager to contribute to accurate financial record-keeping and support the firm's accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records.
• Post journal entries and ensure proper coding of transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including credit entries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience as an Accountant or within a Big 4 Audit firm.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Bookkeeping: Strong attention to detail, proficient in accounting software, and understanding of investment-related transactions.
• Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
