What you'll be doing
- Preparation and development of investment decisions and multi-asset strategies for the team, including the creation of decision templates and presentations with a focus on liquid asset classes (equities, fixed income, money market instruments, funds/ETFs, options, securitisations) and alternative investment solutions (e.g. liquid alternatives, absolute-return strategies, structured products such as collateralized loan obligations, alternative UCITS)
- Analysis of global capital markets and financial instruments, with particular focus on liquid alternatives and structured products, including market monitoring, identification of relevant trends and derivation of tactical and strategic allocation recommendations
- Preparation of research, market and product analyses as well as presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Close collaboration with Relationship Management, including pitch preparation and support
- Contribution to product selection, due diligence and implementation in the area of Liquids & Alternatives
- Monitoring of portfolio performance, performance measurement and risk analysis across multiple asset classes
- Documentation and recording of investment decisions and processes, as well as active involvement in new product development
- Responsibility for the development of tools and spreadsheets to support and automate the team's analytical and investment advisory activities
What you'll need to succeed
- Solid expertise in financial markets and financial portfolio management
- Strong knowledge of liquid markets and alternative UCITS strategies, ideally complemented by experience with structured products and liquid alternatives
- A structured, analytical, creative and conceptual approach to work and problem-solving
- High learning agility and the ability to quickly absorb new topics, developments and innovations
- Strong team-oriented mindset, with the ability to inspire internal and external partners while maintaining a strong quality focus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a clear client orientation
- Conceptual experience in funds, portfolio management, structured products or alternative investments is desirable
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in portfolio management, advisory, multi-asset management, research or investment consulting
- Fluent in German and English
- Confident use of analysis and market data tools (e.g. Bloomberg)
- Very strong Excel skills, including programming and automation
