Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Assist Payroll Supervisor in processing payroll for the different markets following proper steps of balancing payroll by running multiple payroll reports and missing time reports.
Review ADP for missing punches and/or over punching.
Ensure accuracy of payroll prior to releasing batches.
Assist Payroll Supervisor in finali
Accounts payable data input of invoices.
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Obtain information on new vendors and enforce w-9 requirements.
Research and resolve invoice issues.
Work within daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
Perform other job related duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook desired with the ability to learn a variety of other software programs
Data entry
Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines
Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude
Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor
Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports
Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile
Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials
Regularly lift and/or move and carry up to 5 pounds
