About the National Wrestling Hall of Fame
Founded in 1976, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame (NWHOF) preserves wrestling history, recognizes extraordinary achievement, and inspires greatness. Headquartered in Stillwater, OK, the NWHOF includes a national museum, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum in Iowa, and 37 state chapters nationwide.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Accounting & Finance Manager to strengthen financial operations, reporting, and internal controls in support of our mission.
Position Overview
This is a full-time, exempt role reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Treasurer and Finance Committee. The position has no direct reports but plays a key leadership role in financial transparency and organizational accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain general ledger and monthly balance sheet reconciliations (QuickBooks)
Manage AP/AR, deposits, and semi-monthly payroll (Paycom)
Oversee restricted funds and endowment accounting
Reconcile DonorPerfect CRM with accounting system
Deliver timely monthly financial statements and variance analysis
Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and board reporting
Coordinate with outside accountants for annual tax filings
Maintain internal controls and compliance documentation
Support gift processing and financial reporting for development team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (strongly preferred)
5+ years nonprofit or comparable accounting experience
Experience with fund accounting, restricted funds, or endowments
Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills
High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
What We Offer
$65,000–$80,000 annual salary (based on experience)

Requirements
