Position Summary
This position is responsible for SREL's accounting duties that center around daily transaction posting to projects, budget, and departmental financial transfers.

Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Place orders for SREL's general laboratory population utilizing UGA Mart and P-Card.
  • Ensure purchases are in accordance with UGA's P-Card policy and procurement guidelines.
  • Provide required receipts and documentation to P-Card Reconciler in a timely manner.
Percentage of time 30 Duties/Responsibilities
  • Process Accounts Payable to include check requests for assigned PIs and Intra-University payments.
Percentage of time 30 Duties/Responsibilities
  • Responsible for entering AP JV's and GL Journal entries.
Percentage of time 20 Duties/Responsibilities
  • Serves as assigned PIs first point of contact for project balances, budget errors, expense report errors and administrative questions.
