Description

This is fantastic and rare opportunity for a part-qualified Tax Accountant to move into an in-house tax team within a fast growing financial services organisation. The individual would be assisting with the production of and analysis regarding all Corporate Tax compliance of the European and Asian entities, reporting to the VP Corporate Tax. You will need to have 2-3 years practical experience working in a Corporate Tax compliance / tax accounting role.

Main Responsibilities

• Assistance with all monthly tax provision reporting working papers for European and Asian entities;
• Assisting the CT Manager with the preparation of tax analysis for corporate tax returns; collating data as required
• Assisting the CT Manager with the with the preparation of statutory tax notes under appropriate GAAP (including FRS102) for all UK entities;
• Monthly tax calendar updates
• Assisting the Tax Director with TP data and records
• Assisting CT manager with Pillar 2 requirements; data extraction etc
• Month end journal preparations
• Procedure write ups
• Assistance with certificate of residences - information requests
• General ad hoc assistance to the Tax Director and CT VP as required

You will need to be a part-qualified accountant with at least 2 years' experience focused on corporate tax compliance, tax accounting and journal entries. Further awareness to wider taxes such as Transfer Pricing, WHT and Pillar 2 would be fantastic. We are looking for a candidate with a pro-active attitude, ambitious and eager to learn, whilst demonstrating strong attention to detail and communication skills.

This role will require 3 days per week in the office, which is based in the West End.
